The mission of the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease (MIND) includes providing training for the next generation of neurodegenerative disease researchers in a dynamic and collaborative environment. MIND laboratories have a stimulating mix of undergraduate researchers, Ph.D. program graduate students, medical students, and postdoctoral researchers. MIND also hires recent college graduates considering a career in science or medicine to work as laboratory technicians. Most of MIND’s senior researchers also hold appointments as Harvard Medical School faculty and at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Researchers at MIND are able to take advantage of opportunities afforded by MIND’s extensive network of affiliations including attending seminars within MIND, other MassGeneral research centers, Neurology Grand Rounds at MassGeneral, and numerous other educational and training opportunities sponsored by MIND, Harvard Medical School, or other affiliates.
